Why WE USE NETWORK TOPOLOGY? AND HOW MANY TYPES THEY ARE.

5:56:00 PM 0

Network Topology Is a way of Connecting Computers in the Network. and Every Design has its Own Feature. But here is Three main type of Topology.

  1. BUS TOPOLOGY-

Bus Topology is Cost Effective Topology. Because Here We Use Only Single Cable For Connecting all the Computers. But Here is also a Disadvantage that If Backbone Cable (main wire) Will Break all the Communication Will Stop On Next all Node.

  • STAR TOPOLOGY-

As show in Figure All the PC's are Connected to A Central Point that is Called Switch.
Here Main Problem Occurs When Central Point Face any Issue. all the Communication are Stop and Whole Network Becomes Down.

  • MESH TOPOLOGY-

In Mesh Topology all the Computer Nodes are Connected to Each Other. As Each Computers are Connected to Each other they Need large amount of Cable that Increases the Network Cost. But in Mesh Topology If one link becomes Down Communication not affected they can Maintain Communication.

WHAT IS THE BASIC TOPICS THAT CAN ASK IN CCNA FRESHER INTERVIEW?

9:44:00 AM 0

ROUTER-

Router is a Layer 3 device that are Used to Connect two Different Network. And Show in Figure IT is The Standard Sign for Routers.

SWITCH-

Switch is an Intelligent Device. that is Used to Handle Many PC and Computers Connected in a local area Network.Switch is a Intelligent Device Because it Can Learn MAC Address. and have Large Number of Ports. When Switch Installed in a LAN at Very First time It Broadcast Packets (APR packets).

MULTI-LAYER SWITCH-

Multi--Layer Switch is new generation device. it is layer 2 and layer 3 device. it can work as router and also can work as switch.

NIC-

Full Form of NIC Is NETWORK INTERFACE CARD. The MAC address is Embedded on It. And Internet is Not Accessible Without NIC. In One PC their will be Many NIC .

HUB-

HUB is a old Network Device. And Currently not Used in Companies. Because it broadcast the data So Unnecessary traffic was Created. and Divide Bandwidth to Each Computer Equally. So Bandwidth was wasted by HUB.

REPEATER-

Repeater is Device that is Used to Amplifie the Signal on Regular distance. Basically is a Modulator. That Maintain Signal Strength all over the Source to Distance Same.

MODEM-

It is Used to Convert Signal From Analog To Digital and Digital to Analog.

BRIDGE VS SWITCH-

Bridge and Switch are approximately same but having some different.
1.Bridge are software based                               1.  Switch are Hardware based
2.Bridge has less port.                                        2.  Switch has high Port.

So Friends this are few question and answer and this is very basic one. you need to learn more in deep on each topic. and many more

Why Twisted Cable are Twisted ?

4:57:00 PM 0

Twisted Pair Cable was invented by Graham Bell. As From Name anyone can Easily Understood
This is a type of Cable Which is Twisted on other Cable. But the question is why they are Twisted.
The Reason behind twisting is Cancelling out ,Electromagnetic Interference from External Sources
and Electromagnetic radiation from UTP (unshielded twisted pair cable ) cable.

  • UNSHIELDED TWISTED PAIR
UTP Cable are used for Networking  and Traditional Telephone. There are Seven type of UTP Cable,

WHAT IS THE JOB PROFILE YOU CAN GET AFTER CCNA ?

6:17:00 PM 0
CCNA means Cisco Certified Network Associate is a Entry Level Certification for Network Engineers. some low level certificates are also available Like Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) and  Cisco Certified Technicians (CCT).
CCNA Routing and Switching are most common requirement for any other Associate level course. Some other course related to Associate level are as:

CCDACCNA CloudCCNA CollaborationCCNA CyberOpsCCNA Data CenterCCNA IndustrialCCNA SecurityCCNA Service ProviderCCNA Wireless

This is the position that any CCNA certified candidate can get easily.

1. Network Engineers-
The job responsibility of Network Engineers are to Maintain the Existing Network Performance. and Configuration of Routing and Switching Equipment.

2. Network Administrator-
The person on this position are responsible for Installing Network and Computer Systems, Maintain and Upgrade Computer system.Knowledge of hardware and Software are also required .

3. Desktop Support Engineer-
This Position is quit easy. and anyone can get this job with little effort. But one important thing about this position is you must have good Communication skill. It may require some other language from your native language because you may provide support globally. You may also responsible for take backup of the data.

4 .Technical Support Engineer-
Technical Support Engineer are mostly provide support to the distance user on client end.

WHAT IS BRIDGE?

9:17:00 PM

Network bridge is a device that are used to connect two devices in two different Collision Domain. A Bridge work at the Data-Link layer of the OSI model.Bridge can read MAC address. So When any Ethernet Frame come It inspect whether to forward it or stop the frame. If Destination address is another part of the segment Bridge Forward the Ethernet Frame on that segment.

WHAT IS HUB?

8:45:00 PM

Hub is a device that are used for same Collision domain. It is basically a center point in the LAN. It is also used in network as Repeater So It Repeat Electrical Signal that comes in one port out all other port. HUB are layer one device in OSI model  and not uses Ethernet frame or addressing. That's why they can't decide which port a signal should be sent . Hub send data through broadcast. Hubs are currently not used because It create unnecessary traffic in the network. And this work in half duplex mode and can easily captured by Network Sniffing.

WHAT IS HALF DUPLEX AND FULL DUPLEX?

8:39:00 PM

In Half Duplex data can be send to only in one direction. So It can be Describe as If data is receiving on any node of the Network then at the same time You can not send data to any other Node. This type is called Half duplex. Some example that follow half duplex mode are HUB.(but currently hub are not in use or rarely used in Ethernet.) In half duplex mode only one cable are used for both send and receive data.

In full duplex mode any Node in the Network can receive and send Data at same instant. In Full Duplex mode two cables are separately used for send and receive the data.
